Standby table with higher chairs.

 

Design and produce a standby table with higher chairs for the entrance hall of a university/high school/entrance hall of a hotel/Forum of the vocational school Emil-Possehl-Schule. The director wants to use the tables for creative and communicative breaks during conferences, seminars and other kind of meetings.

 

The measurement of the tabletop should not be bigger than 70 cm in diameter/square. The customer wants a functional and steady table in a light design. The 2 higher chairs have to fit to the standby table.

 

  • Use the CNC machine to produce parts of this products.
  • Surface finish with oil or varnish in top quality.

Task No. 2

 

Customers contract:


Seatbench for 2 – 3 persons.


A private customer asks you to make a design purpose for a seatbench for 2 – 3 persons. He wants to have two of them in their kitchen-cum-living room standing on both longsides of the kitchen table. The custumer wants to have this seatbench in solid wood (e.g.oak, ash) and maybe a second material (linoleum, metall) is used for this seatbench.

 

It has to have a modern and light design with a steady construction. The edges have to be rounded so there is no risk of injuries. The design of he seatbench has to go well with the table. (see photo!!)

 

  • The maximum measurements are 2000 x 1000 x 600 mm. (l x h x d).

Task No. 3

 

Customers contract:


Design wall lamps with vertical light directions.

 

A reliable customer of your company asks for a thin lamp design (indirect light) from light wood like e.g. spruce, ash, cherry in veneer (plywood) for his living room. His imagination is to have a rounded design so that visitors are curious, how this lamp works.

 

  • The dimension should not be longer than 450 mm.
  • The width should not be more than 300 mm.
  • 160 mm is the maximum depth for this lamp.

Customers contract:

 

Shelf for newspapers and magazines.

 

Your customer is the owner of a small café in Lübeck and he wants you to design and produce a shelf for newspapers and agazines. He prefers to fix it on one wall in the café, but he will also be pleased, if you have an attractive design of a shelf which is situated on the ground or on the bar (counter).

 

It has to have rounded forms and he asked you to work with veneer. You can put at least 5 newspapers and 8 magazines in it.

 

  • Max. dimensions: 1000 x 400 x 250.
  • Use the CNC machine to produce parts of this products.
  • Surface finish with oil or varnish in top quality.

Task No. 5

 

Customers contract:


Small and light wall board in a rounded form.

 

Your customer asks you, if you can design and produce a small and light wall board (shelf) with only one small drawer for keys, phones… in a light wodden design with rounded forms.

 

It should be fixed on the wall of the entrance corridor and the dimensions should not be more than 80 cm in the length, maximum 20 cm in the hight and 24 cm in the width.
